FInd Virginia at the PAKENHAM LIBRARY, 128 MacFarlane Street, Pakenham – lower level
Virginia is a local artisan who draws from her childhood international experiences and her educational background to infuse her pieces with an organic flavour and a tasteful play of colours.
She is the daughter and granddaughter of visual artists and her father cut and polished stones. Virginia’s formal training is in Biology but she now pursues her passions for jewelry making and painting in her retirement. Her favourite creations now are watercolour paintings and watercolour painted pieces of jewelry using metals and crystals as embellishments.
Her work was carried by Bittersweet Gallery in Burnstown for over 15yrs. She is just getting her feet wet in Almonte, some of her work is at The Almonte Pharmacy and she was carried by Judy Joannou for a year or so before she closed her store and retired, in addition Frangipani carries her work from time time. She will also be at The Herb Garden while it is open in the spring/summer of 2025, and she will participate in Art in The Attic in Almonte as well.
