Find Laurel at Farmgate Cider, 4547 Mohr’s Road, Arnprior

My husband and I closed our kennel and moved at the end of November 2020. The area in which we now live is highly agricultural. Many barns sport wonderful barn quilts and I drive by several of them whenever I go out. I love barn quilts and was inspired to paint some smaller barn quilts that can be mounted outside. 

But I have incorporated my love of animal portraiture and have been creating a series that I call “Photo-bombing Barn Quilts”. They are painted on lightweight aluminum panels with high quality exterior house paint. I have been able to achieve the same fine definition of the animals as I have done in the past for my interior animal portraiture.The barn quilts can be mounted on fences, garages, sheds and more and even on barns!
